A few days ago I posted our first transfer talk article of this season. Based on this article someone sent us an email asking me to write about transfer targets for this summer. I immediately liked this idea and that’s why I present to you the top 3 transfer targets for this summer transfer window.
Top 3 transfer targets
- Matthijs de Ligt
The 19 years-old Dutch defender is very experienced for his age. He played in an Europa League final at the age of 17 and a Champions League final this season. His performances in the Champions League this season showed everyone he’s ready for the next step in his career. He is Barca bound according to the bookies, but the Spanish side have some very heavy competition from top clubs all over Europe. Liverpool would like to bring him to complete the centre-back partnership from the Dutch national side. Teams like PSG, Manchester United and Juventus want to buy him too. It’s going to be very interesting to see which choice he’s going to make. Soon we will know what his decision is going to be. - Joao Felix
The talented Portuguese striker comes of the back of his real breakthrough season. Especially his performances in the Europa League, with 3 goals in the first semi-final leg against Eintracht Frankfurt, has convinced many teams that he’s the next big thing in football. So he’s heavily linked to the entire top of Europe, but Manchester City appears to be in the drivers seat for his autograph. - Aaron Wan-Bissaka
The Crystal Palace right wing-back is one the best young player of last season. He really broke through in the first team at his club and is already considered for the English national team. An upcoming and talented wing-back is very interesting for every single top team in football. Looking at the top 6 of the Premier League, Liverpool is probably the only team that doesn’t need to look at Wan-Bissaka. However I believe the other teams can all very much use the services of this youngster.
