Noni Madueke officially exchanges PSV for Chelsea, both clubs report through the official channels. The Blues pay approximately 38 million euros for the twenty-year-old attacker. Madueke passed the medical examination without any problems and has signed a contract until mid-2030, so for no less than seven and a half years.
Noni Madueke to Chelsea
The fact that Chelsea works with such long-term contracts has to do with the regulations on Financial Fair Play. By capturing players for a long time, the amortization per season is lower. Chelsea first reported to Eindhoven last Friday to take over Madueke. A transfer fee of thirty million euros was initially not enough to convince the PSV club management. The matter gained momentum on Thursday afternoon and the club then agreed to a transfer fee of 38 million euros. Partly due to the injury history of the winger, it was an offer that PSV could not refuse.

In London, Madueke must provide trainer Graham Potter with more choices at his forefront. However, the competition on the right flank is fierce for the former Tottenham Hotspur player. Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and João Félix all count as competitors. Madueke is already the sixth acquisition for the English club, who transferred a hundred million euros to Shakhtar Donetsk for Mykhailo Mudryk last week. The Ukrainian left winger even signed until mid-2031.
PSV
Madueke has been active for PSV since July 2018, which took him over from Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer at the time. In January 2020, the left leg made his debut in the main force at the age of seventeen during the duel with VVV-Venlo (1-1). In total, Madueke came into action eighty times for the team from Eindhoven, in which he scored twenty goals and fourteen assists. With his transfer to Chelsea, he returns to his native country. Free bets on Madueke to make any transfer have paid out good money! His injury record led to a dissappointing time in Eindhoven.
