Liverpool is building a title worthy team

The transfer window shuts down early in the Premier League this summer. After a lot of debates, the FA and the Premier League clubs decided to close the transfer window two days before the start of the 2018-2019 Premier League season. The new deadline is now on the 9th of August. This means teams need to take quick action. Liverpool is one of the teams that is seriously building on a title worthy team.

Liverpool’s title worthy team for 2018-2019

Naby Keita is Liverpool’s first signing for the upcoming season. The Reds made a smart move when they bought this talented Guinean player in the summer of 2017. They gave him one more year at RB Leipzig before moving to London. Liverpool recently announced the signing of As Monaco midfield player Fabinho. This is already their second big transfer in this transfer window. We can say Liverpool almost felt success in the Champions League and they want to build on this to actually start winning trophies again.

Is this Liverpool ready to win the Premier League?

I think Liverpool is very close to having a Premier League winning squad. There are a lot of rumours linking Fekir to a Liverpool move. This would mean they are only two good signings short of a title worthy team. This would be my ideal Liverpool line-up for next season:

New goalkeeper
Alexander-Arnold, new Centre back, Van Dijk, Robertson
Keita, Fabinho, Fekir
Mane, Firmino, Salah

Liverpool needs to get a new goalkeeper and a centre back. AS Roma goalie Allison is one of the hot prospects for the goalkeeper position. When they can get him and another strong centre back, they should be able to compete for the title next season.

Betting on Liverpool to win the Premier League

Do you believe in Liverpool’s chances for next season?Check the best free bets on BettingInstitute.co.uk and place your bet on the 2018-2019 Premier League season. The odds are currently 11/2 for Liverpool to win the 2018-2019 Premier League title. If they can get two or three new players in before the end of the transfer window, this odd is probably going to be a lot less interesting. 1/4 is at this moment the best you can get for Liverpool to finish in the top 4. Liverpool is the second favourite according to the bookies. Man City is the big favourite to keep the title with an odd of 4/6, Manchester United comes in third place with the 1/7.
