Frenkie de Jong

Frenkie de Jong moves to PSG according to sources

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf announced an agreement between Ajax and PSG about a 66 million Pounds transfer move for Frenkie de Jong. The 21-years-old De Jong is one of the biggest talents in the world of football. PSG’s assistant sporting director and former Ajax player Maxwell was in the Amsterdam Harbour Club together with De Jong’s agent. During this meeting PSG announced their interest in the talented player and convinced De Jong’s agent why he should move to the French capital.

Frenkie de Jong

The Ajax star is a real talented player for years. Especially since the beginning of this season he’s making some big steps. He qualified for the Champions League knock-out stages with Ajax. Since Ronald Koeman put him in the team, Holland won against both Germany and France for the Nations League. The matches against the French national team didn’t only convinced the board of PSG, but also star player Kylian Mbappe got convinced by the Dutch youngster. He told the board at his club that Frenkie de Jong is the perfect player for Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City

The last few months Man City looked to become the next destination for Frenkie de Jong. The stories about Man City’s problems with the Financial Fair Play stopped their attempts of buying Frenkie at the moment. They just can’t make a 66 million pound offer with a possible European football ban awaiting for them. Personally this really hurts me. I’m a big Ajax fan and love Frenkie’s style. I think he would be the perfect player for Man City and Pep. Another reason this transfer hurts me is that we can’t see the Ligue 1 in the Netherlands, while I can see every single match of Man City. I still hope that the player himself decides to reject the PSG offer and will wait for Man City to get him.
