Azzedine Ounahi can prepare for a transfer

World Cup sensation Ounahi can pack his suitcases. According to various media, The 22-year-old Ounahi put himself in the spotlight at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar by achieving a historic 4th place with the Moroccan football team. After a spectacular tournament, the team of national coach Walid Regragui lost the semi-final to the later runner-up France (2-0) and went down in the consolation final against Croatia (2-1). Ounahi was a player who nobody really knew before the tournament, and everybody wants in their team now. Everybody who loves football knows his name now. That’s the beauty of these big tournaments.

Preference for Italy

Together with some teammates, Ounahi was one of the absolute stars of Regragui’s elite corps. According to L’Équipe and Foot Mercato, among others, the Serie A leader in the market is ready to take it over. Napoli should become the Angers midfielder’s new employer. The managerless Angers is desolately at the bottom of Ligue 1 and could use the possible Ounahi millions. Earlier it was said that Leicester City also had him on the radar. This winter window is the perfect timing for Angers to sell the player. If they get relegated, his price would go down as quick as it went up now.

Interest for Morocco star

Ounahi must cost a sloppy 45 million euros. According to the stories, his preference is for a transfer to Italy. Internazionale would also keep an eye on the situation. Olympique Marseille also showed interest, but seems to be missing out given Ounahi’s taste. In addition, Angers wants financial security for a possible deal: something that is always the question in the south of France. He also got options outside of Italy. Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City, Sevilla and Barcelona also are interested in his services.

The bookmakers are struggling to find the right odds for his next club. According to Oddschecker Skybet is the only bookie so far with some very high odds. If you’ve got some free bets for Skybet it’s definitely worth a try to put them on a Napoli move.
