When a player makes a transfer, it’s always the club that announces the transfer. It’s a little bit double for me this decision. I’m really impressed by his loyalty to the club. Even after the fans booed him in the last match, he shows he loves Atletico Madrid and he wants to stay there. It’s deserves a lot of respect that a player denies a big transfer to stay at his club.

Barcelona is my favourite team in Spain and I would have loved to see him play at Camp Nou. Both Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are a few years older, so I can imagine they are after the Frenchman. But now he decides to stay at Atletico Madrid, this opens the door for Ousmane Dembele to makes him minutes during the upcoming season. I really rate Dembele and think he can do bits if he plays every single week. Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho, that’s quite an attack they can play.
