2019 summer transfer talk #1
If we take the Frenkie de Jong out of the equation (since this transfer was announced earlier this year) Real Madrid announced the first big transfer of this summer. They confirmed the transfer of Luka Jovic earlier today.

Eintracht Frankfurt is for me the biggest winner of this transfer. They had Jovic on loan from Benfica last season. At the end of the loan period they triggered an 8 million clause. Now a month later, they sell him for 60 million to Real Madrid. Personally I’m very excited about this transfer. He made a very good impression in his team at Eintracht Frankfurt and I believe he will form a great partnership with Eden Hazard (who’s transfer will be announced soon).
One player is currently the headline of many Youtube videos and twitter messages. Ajax player Mathijs de Ligt is linked to several teams from the top of Europe. English media seem to be convinced he will make a move to Manchester United. Funnily enough there is no such talks in the Dutch media. There is nobody at Ajax and in the Netherlands who believes this Man United team is the right place for De Ligt to go to. If he wants a move to the Premier League, he needs to form a partnership with Van Dijk at Liverpool or with Laporte at Manchester City.
